Introduction

FreeRouting is a powerful open-source standalone PCB auto-routing tool compatible with all EDA software supporting the standard Specctra/Electra DSN interface (KiCad, EAGLE, Target 3001, EasyEDA, pcb-rnd, etc.). It provides a GUI, CLI, and REST API (Beta), supporting headless mode. Developed in Java, it supports Windows x64, Linux x64, and macOS platforms, deployable via Docker. It imports .dsn (Specctra/Electra design input) and exports .ses (Specctra session output), and is a mature open-source project with 1.7k+ Stars (GPL-3.0 license).
