Introduction

Gerbv is a free and open-source Gerber file viewer supporting Gerber RS-274X files, Excellon drill files and CSV pick-and-place files. Originally developed as part of the gEDA project, its core functionality is encapsulated in the standalone library libgerbv, allowing developers to integrate Gerber parsing, editing, export and rendering capabilities into other programs. It provides multi-layer overlay display, measurement tools, layer alignment check and more. Available on Linux, Windows and macOS, downloadable from GitHub Releases or pre-compiled binaries for various platforms.
