Introduction

heypcb is an AI-assisted PCB design application built around KiCad files. Describe a circuit board in plain language and heypcb helps place parts, route copper, and keep schematic and PCB in sync on real project files, running DRC and ERC checks before manufacturing export. Everything is delivered as real KiCad files that you own, with Gerbers, drill files, BOM and CPL downloadable for fabrication. It also ships Circuit World, a directory of more than 11,000 open-hardware boards indexed by the part each one is built around, so you can open an existing design and build on it. Existing KiCad projects can be imported, and an optional ask-mode offers electronics and layout tutoring.
